Career |
|
In 1973 I entered the Fine Arts School of Nancy, department of Applied Arts, where I familiarised myself with colour, perspective, decorative projects and creation (furnishings and interior fittings). At the same time, I did an apprenticeship in a workshop putting into practice these projects with teachers who had worked for Vallin/ Gallé / Majorelle, cabinetmakers and pioneers in Art Nouveau (Modern Style). - I left with a diploma in Interior Decoration and Fittings. - Then 3 more years with traditional cabinetmakers under the aegis of the SEMA (Society for the Promotion of Arts and Crafts). - Plus different advanced courses in marquetry and French polish with different professionals and professors. - In 1980 I set up a workshop in Avignon. |
